History
Clifford bought the car through Mike Atkins / Shelby
and took the engine, trans and running gear and put it all under a carbon
fiber chassis to run in the WSC races. The car had a designation of LR-93
(James Lee and Clifford Rassweiler) and ran a few seasons before being
dismantled and restored as an original Shelby CAN-AM and exported to South
Africa.
The car has been very successful in the capable hands of Neil and Darren
Lobb and has won numerous races and championships in the Vodacom Shelby
Series in South Africa.
